5 Family-Friendly Hikes Around Utah

Utah is absolutely beautiful, and with Taylor Joelle being from Utah, we thought it would be fun to share some hikes you can go on if you’re in the mood for a little adventure. But don’t worry, if you’re anything like me you’re not always up for a strenuous journey, and I’m guessing that most of your littles won’t be either. That’s why all of these are EASY and family-friendly!

1. Landscape Arch
The Landscape Arch is located in Arches National Park and is considered one of the longest arches in the world. Kinda cool, right? And, the hike to get to it isn’t bad either. It’s 1.6 miles round trip, the trail is easy and well-marked too.Landscape Arch - All You Need to Know BEFORE You Go (2024)

2. Bridal Veil Falls
This hike is definitely one of my favorites (not just because it’s the shortest…). If you live in the Provo area, you’ve probably seen the falls when you drive up Provo Canyon. The hike is less than ¼ mile and has a paved trail which is super nice!gjhikes.com: Bridal Veil Falls

3. Cascade Springs
If you’ve never driven the Alpine Loop before, you should. It’s one of my most favorite things to do in the summer/fall. But did you know that you can get to a place called Cascade Springs from there too? It has cool springs and pools and even some larger ponds that allow you to see some fish! It has two pathways that stem from the parking lot, so you can pick your difficulty!assets.simpleviewinc.com/simpleview/image/upload/c...

4. Cecret Lake
This hike is located in Alta and totals at 1.7 miles. The trail isn’t super steep and there are a ton of flowers, wildlife, and of course a clear lake! It’s a beautiful place for a picnic, just sayin’. But, it tends to be a more popular hike so it’s best to try and get there earlier, unless you don’t mind the crowd!Cecret Lake

5. Delicate Arch Trail
Okay, I HAD to include this hike. I mean c’mon, it’s pretty iconic. But, keep in mind that this hike is a little more strenuous so it’s not for little little kids. But, it’s still family friendly and the view is pretty awesome.www.discovermoab.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Wi...

There are SO many more fun hikes around Utah, these are only a few of them! But hopefully we were able to give you and your family some ideas for an adventure!
